The EG STARTS Games Joystick / Hotas Chair Mount is a versatile and convenient solution for mounting various flight simulation controllers to your chair. It comes with all the necessary tools and fittings, making installation relatively straightforward. One of the major drawbacks of this product is the significant wobble that occurs at the connection point between the two armatures. This wobble can make it difficult to use a joystick with a rotation axis effectively unless additional stabilization methods, such as sticky back velcro or tape, are employed. Despite this flaw, the mount is made of solid metal and is strong enough to hold the controllers securely. However, it may require modifications, such as using velcro or finding alternative screws, to minimize the wobble. The price of the product is Considered reasonable compared to its competitors, but some customers feel that a quick-release system and improved stability would justify the cost. Overall, the EG STARTS Games Joystick / Hotas Chair Mount is a decent purchase if it is compatible with your chair. However, potential buyers should be aware of the wobble issue and the need for DIY modifications to achieve optimal stability.
