Perguntas e respostas do cliente

  • Pergunta: What is the finish of this product?

Resposta: The product is finished in chrome.
  • Pergunta: What is the significance of UPC certification?

Resposta: UPC certification ensures the product meets quality and safety standards.
  • Pergunta: Is this product available in any other finishes?

Resposta: No, it is only available in chrome finish.
  • Pergunta: Are the dimensions given accurate?

Resposta: The HG thumb plug is indeed 40mm in diameter & 70 mm in length.
  • Pergunta: Does this plug have a 35mm diameter? Does this work where the pop-up mechanism is a lever on the mixer tap?

Resposta: Yes, this plug works where the lever is on the mixer tap. A bar goes through the hole at the bottom of the plug, and the lever pulls this bar up and down to raise or lower the plug.
  • Pergunta: Does the hole at the bottom of the fitting go into a fitting beneath the sink?

Resposta: When you operate the lever behind your tap to open or close your plug, it either lifts or drops a rod which runs into the drain beneath the sink. You can disconnect this and push the rod through the hole in the plug, which will mean you cannot then remove the plug, but it will pull the plug down, making a better seal. Otherwise, just adjust the plug so that it sits on top of the rod and moves up and down with gravity. You can then remove the plug for cleaning, etc.
  • Pergunta: How easy is this to fit without dismantling the sink?

Resposta: It is not very difficult, just loosen the lever mechanism below the sink and you will be able to fit it.
  • Pergunta: Is the screw supposed to rest on the lever or do I need to dismantle the sink to hook the screw on to the lever?

Resposta: The hole in the screw fits over the lever in the plug hole, which raises and lowers the basin plug. You may need to take the screw off, fit it over the lever, and then screw on the grey plastic piece followed by the plug.
  • Pergunta: Does this come with the rod mechanism?

Resposta: Yes, the HG thumb plug comes with the rod mechanism. It includes the chrome cap/head seen in the picture.
  • Pergunta: Does this plug have a 30 diameter? Does this work where the pop-up mechanism is a lever on the mixer tap?

Resposta: The Hansgrohe pop up plug with chrome cap/head is suitable for basins and bidets and has a 40mm diameter only.
