Polycom Adapters Editorial Review

The Polycom OBI 302 Voice Adapter USB 2 FXS ATA 2200-49532-001 is a device used for converting a data connection for a fax machine connection to work with an IP based phone system. The device has two RJ-11 analog phone ports and a 10/100 Base Ethernet internet (WAN). The device has received mixed reviews from customers, with some praising its effectiveness and others criticizing its complexity and poor website and instructions. The device is reported to be compatible with Zoom, though may not be compatible with Microsoft Teams, according to one customer who suggested Consulting Microsoft to check its compatibility. One customer suggested using voip.ms for working service without using obitalk.com, but noted that disabling the obitalk service will prevent the use of the obi number or calling other obi devices. Another customer recommended using t38fax.com service for setup of FOIP.
