Although the device is only hardware, all the standard firewall functions will work fine for a year, after which you'll need to purchase a license for advanced features such as content filtering, IPS, antispam/antimalware, and firmware updates. This model doesn't have wifi and connecting it to the software is easy once you have the license. It's a reliable device that's worth investing in, especially if you need a firewall for your small business or home.
