    Resposta: I put a Thunderbird in mine, but because it fit loosely in the Armor model, I needed to put aluminum tape on the plastic 'rails' of the thunderbird for extra friction. I don't think there was a clearcoat at all on my brass Armor, but it's gotten patina and been polished many times over the years - if there was any, there's none left now.

    Resposta: It is empty and it runs off of lighter fluid, not gas. Zippo sells its own lighter fluid just for Zippos.
