The XSPC G14" Inline Filter in black chrome is a well-regarded product by its customers for its efficiency at filtering out impurities that would otherwise clog up the water blocks and pumps in their custom PC water-cooling loops. Users recommend using fiber fill material to trap any impurities and to install a filter just before each water block. One user had issues with plastic shards from the hard tubing entering their loop, but the filter trapped them all. Another user recommended placing the filter as the first connection in the loop. Some users use multiple filters, and some add activated charcoal to their filters. One user even claimed that it cut out the buzzing and vibrations from their water pump. The filter has knurled ends, is made of glass (which doesn't crack or stain), and has g1/4" threads. A few users, however, experienced leaks and some didn't recommend using it with silver coil.
