It has a mouse pad that can be trimmed to fit space for the mouse. The drawer features a wrist pad, but it's optional. The total width from edge of bracket to bracket is 29 inches. There are three screw holes on each bracket in a triangular pattern. The shelf attaches with four 'L' brackets. To install, you have to drill holes, and there is no template. The tray is all black, and the package includes all the proper hardware. Customers have commented that the product is solid enough, but it cannot actually be locked in place. The drawer hangs down 3-4 inches, but it's black and dark. Many customers have appreciated the keyboard tray and have bought this product multiple times.
