The Concord Daybed is a solid pine wood, white single-sized daybed with an under-bed trundle that rolls on wheels. The daybed has a weight limit of 450lbs and the trundle has a weight limit of 250lbs. The trundle takes a standard twin size mattress of +/- 39"W x 75"L with a recommended thickness of 7". The bed comes with a urethane-based finish and has a low to medium VOC emission. Some customers may notice a chemical smell upon opening due to the finish that will dissipate over time. The trundle is not attached to the bed frame, thus can be used independently. There have been mixed reviews on this daybed. While some customers found it sturdy and solid, others experienced broken pieces such as the beam across the front or frame split, sometimes within a few months of use. There were a few customers who found the instructions to be unclear and confusing, while others found them to be clear but cautioned that the bed is quite heavy and difficult to move around. One noteworthy comment was that the bed was a great deal for the price and was easy to assemble.
