The textured sole and heel provide excellent grip, and the design of the heel is lower than some other weightlifting shoes, which is a great option for those who want to make sure their form is solid. The only possible drawback might be the rack of strap for some, but as most Asics are snug fitting, the straps may not be necessary. Additionally, the shoes are handmade and proudly display a "Made in Japan" tag on the inside of the tongue.
