The Schylling Tin Can Telephone is a fun and educational toy for kids. It arrives in a nice giftable box and the cans are slightly bigger than regular cans, making it a cute addition to any play area. However, the bottom of the can is made of thin plastic, which could result in the string ripping out and affecting sound quality. Despite the subpar Construction, the toy works well and has great sound quality due to the really long cord. The labels on the cans are humorous, but some customers found it would have been better if it had retro labels instead. The Schylling Tin Can Telephone was used by a second-grade teacher to demonstrate sound waves and was enjoyed by the kids. It also impressed a grandmother whose grandson loved it and was amazed how it works. Overall, although some customers found it to be cheaply made, for most it worked very well and was a great retro addition to their toy collection.
