The band could withstand Seiko Samurai with its thick bar, but there have been reports of the band fraying and some concerns about stiffness at first. The sailcloth fabric is treated to make it more waterproof, but some customers have found it scratchy and irritating to the skin. It comes in plastic packaging and doesn't seem to be compatible with Apple Watches. Some customers have also had trouble getting the buckle tongue into the holes. However, many people enjoy the fit and appearance of the strap on their watches, with one customer mentioning it looks good on their Vertex.
