It comes with a dimension of 7 5/8 by 7 5/8 by 1 1/2 inches, and requires two units. The filter cartridge has overall measurements of H=8 1/2 by W=1 1/2 by L=8 3/4 inches. The humidifier space savers model 831000 and 826000 works well with the AIRCARE 1043 wick filters, but the AIRCARE 1040 filter will not fit. The filters are essential in maintaining the appropriate moisture levels in the air for quality indoor air. Users are advised to buy water treatment products and use distilled water to avoid quick salt buildup in the filters.
