The LINDBERG Jolly Roger Series: Duel with Death 1:12 Scale Model Kit Diorama is an interesting themed pirate model that provides a fun assembling and painting experience for customers. The model requires some minor fit issues to be fixed through filler and sanding, but there isn't much flashing. One customer installed a yellow flickering LED in the lantern and found plenty of room under the raised sand beach for a AA battery for light effects. However, the arms move on both characters by a plastic-molded-in mechanism, which didn't work too well for the customer who provided the review. Overall, the model is still a fun piece to assemble and paint up, aided by the use of mostly acrylic craft paints.
